Andreea

How long have you been working at Btwentyfour?

I have been working at Btwentyfour for 5 years.

Can you explain your role and responsibilities?

As a Team Lead for the API and Marketplace department, I oversee all the integration projects within the team, and I make sure the team has all the tools they need to implement successful solutions for our customers. The projects we work with can be anything from setting up a drop-shipping order flow, optimizing the article listing on several e-commerce channels, or improving the processes around order fulfillment operations.

Can you describe a typical day at Btwentyfour?

A typical day starts with the daily team stand-up and continues with a few follow-up meetings with customers. Add to that a spontaneous brainstorming session where the entire team gathers to discuss different resolutions. Between these meetings, make some time for planning, scheduling and communication with different stakeholders.

What do you think is the best thing about working at Btwentyfour?

It takes a lot of different skills to offer such a wide range of services as Btwentyfour does. This means we have many different teams focusing on different areas. The wide variety of teams and expertise we have makes it one of the best things to be part of Btwentyfour!

What opportunities have been presented for you to grow within your role and within the team?

During my 5 years at Btwentyfour, I had the chance to go from a role within the Customer Service team to a Project Manager role followed by my current position as API Team Lead. The variety of teams offers endless opportunities for people looking to grow within a role or even change career paths!

How do you interact with other members of the organization?

We’re lucky to have many cross-team projects which means we collaborate a lot with different teams. Then there are a few other ways to interact such as the daily 3 o’clock fika, the Breakfast Club or maybe a workshop where we get to see the latest functionalities in our platform!

What has been the best feedback you received at Btwentyfour?

All the constructive feedback which helped me become a better colleague and helped me grow within all the roles I’ve had.

What are some of the out of office activities you engage in with the team?

It can be a lunch or an after-work! Or maybe the yoga class on Thursdays!

How are new ideas applied within the organization?

We’re constantly looking into getting a fresh perspective into status quo so the first step would be to introduce your idea – talk to your team leader or book a meeting with a specific team and let them know your thoughts.

Development Team (QA)

Adeline

How long have you been working at Btwentyfour?
I’ve been working at Btwentyfour for 2,5 years.

Can you explain your roles and responsibilities ?
I worked at Btwentyfour as a QA tester. Working together with the developers, my role is to ensure the quality of the code before deploying it to production. Through different series of tests, I make sure that none of the requirements have been forgotten and all the user scenarios are covered.

What’s a typical day like at Btwentyfour?
We start the day with a short stand-up meeting with the development team and operations team, followed by another stand up more focused on testing. During the rest of the day, I would either work on the tests for the upcoming release or work on our side project which is about test automation.

What do you think is the best thing about working at Btwentyfour?
It is tough to pick only one. The “originality” of the product makes working at Btwentyfour special and interesting. But of course, the great colleagues also play a big part in making your day and work even better.

What opportunities have been presented for you to grow within your role and within the team?
I got the opportunity to step up as QA lead after we started to hire more QA testers for the Development team.

How do you interact with other members of the organization?
I interact with other members of the organization mostly through meetings. I am involved in those meetings to follow the entire process from the requirements, the planning, the development to the testing

What are some of the out of office activities you engage in with the team?

We have a quite a few of runners within Btwentyfour. So sometimes we go for a run together during lunch. We also started a board games night every other week which has been successful so far.

How are new ideas applied within the organization?
Everybody has a voice at Btwentyfour. I really appreciate that any new ideas I could bring up with my team are taken into consideration and eventually implemented if considered adequate

Customer Onboarding Team

How long have you been working at Btwentyfour?
I have been working at Btwentyfour for 3 months now

Can you explain your role and responsibilities?
I am Client Onboarding Specialist. I am the person with whom our clients have their first interaction and experience after the sale. I make sure that their first experience with our company is a great one. I manage the clients’ first project and make sure that the projects are well organized, according to our clients’ expectations and the communication between them and our team is smooth. Clients’ satisfaction first!

What do you think is the best thing about working at Btwentyfour?
The people working at Btwentyfour are friendly, patient and take the time to answer questions and help you understand all the technical aspects. The work / Life balance.

How are new ideas applied within the organization?
The company itself is very open to new ideas. Btwentyfour stands out for its openness to new and improved ideas.

Integrations Team

Magnus

How long have you been working at Btwentyfour?
I’ve been working at Btwentyfour for 5 years.

Can you explain your role and responsibilities?
My role is Integration Lead, which means I’m responsible for the technical solutions set up by our Integration team. The Integration team work with integrations between our customers and the Btwentyfour Omnichannel Platform, transforming EDI messages to and from a wide range of formats. Together with the team my job is to make sure we create efficient and smart integrations so it will be easier for our customers to set up new EDI connections.

What do you think is the best thing about working at Btwentyfour?
I would say that it’s the growth and evolution of the company. It’s ever changing, with new challenges daily. It’s not always a smooth ride but together with my great colleagues we always keep climbing and striving higher.

How do you interact with other members of the organization?
I talk to and work with most members of the organization. I feel that everyone has the same goals, and we help each other achieve them.

What are some of the out of office activities you engage in with the team?
A couple of times each week we go on lunch break run, a great way to stay in shape. There is also the occasional padel game or yoga session. And of course, I don’t mind an after work every now and then.

How are new ideas applied within the organization?
New ideas are applied all the time; I think that’s how we manage to grow as we do. They can come from all part of the organization; everyone can help us evolve and outperform ourselves

Customer Onboarding team

How long have you been working at Btwentyfour?
I have worked at Btwentyfour almost 2 years.

Can you describe a typical day at Btwentyfour?
My day starts at 8 in the morning with a delicious cup of tea from the kitchen at Btwentyfour. Then, I have a daily Stand- up meeting at 9 o’clock with the Onboarding team which has 8 amazing members.
Having a meeting with clients is a typical day of SPOC roles because I work directly with clients, and my main job is to make them be happy and be satisfied with all service they bought at Btwentyfour.

What do you think is the best thing about working at Btwentyfour?
The best thing I like at Btwentyfour is people – my colleagues! I feel blessed to work around with such nice, kind, helpful, and talented colleagues.

Coordinating and effective communication are two important factors in my job. Thanks to those friendly and amazing colleagues, I can always get help, support from them to have a client’s request done on time.

How do you interact with other members of the organization?
It is easy to get along with my colleagues and have fun at the working place. I always show my appreciation, saying a “thank -you” when they help me out! In the team meeting, I value my teammate’s ideas and encourage them to do the task better.
I think it is both fun and important to have lunch together with my colleagues. It is a good time to know them better and to be friends.

How are new ideas applied within the organization?
We welcome new ideas, and suggestions from all employees. A new idea is implemented quickly and effectively at Btwentyfour.

Customer Service Team

Marcus

How long have you been working at Btwentyfour?
I’ve been working at Btwentyfour for six months.

Can you explain your role and responsibilities?
My role is to be the first point of contact whenever our customers need assistance in their daily operations using our applications. I also hold educations with new customers. With all the customer interaction that my role involves I would say that my greatest responsibilities is to be a good representative of Btwentyfour as well as being responsive to our customers’ needs and requirements so we can keep developing and improving.

Can you describe a typical day at Btwentyfour?
My days mainly involve assisting our customers over phone and e-mail, but the day always starts with a meeting where we in the support team together with representatives from the operations-, development- and integrations team bring up cases that needs extra attention. In the support team we are as good at supporting our customers as we are supporting each other.


What do you think is the best thing about working at Btwentyfour?
I think the constant organizational development combined with the strong believes in collaboration within the organization is exiting and a great recipe for personal development.

How do you interact with other members of the organization?
Interacting with members of other teams within the organization is an important part for me to be able to solve the cases we receive into support. Besides the morning meetings with representatives from other teams I have a strong collaboration with my colleagues over Teams and in person with those who are working at our office.

What has been the best feedback you received at Btwentyfour?
Due to the complexity of our product no one expects you to be an expert overnight. I think that is why patience, collaboration, and a drive to learn are key within our organization.

What are some of the out of office activities you engage in with the team?
We have game nights that are open for all teams which I think is a fun way to socialize and get to know each other outside of work.

How are new ideas applied within the organization?
New ideas are applied all the time; I think that’s how we manage to grow as we do. They can come from all part of the organization; everyone can help us evolve and outperform ourselves.

Sales Team

Jon

Can you describe a typical day at Btwentyfour?
Many days start with a briefing within the Sales team, after which I get in contact with a selection of the current leads, either via e-mail or connecting through a video meeting. Now and then I go visit current or potential future customers, locally or internationally

What do you think is the best thing about working at Btwentyfour?
Being a part of the extensive expansion that this company has had, has been very exciting. One thing that struck me when I started is the non-prestigious environment, that still exists. All staff are focused on problem-solving and have in many cases developed close relationships to our customers, some of which have been customers for 10, 15 or even 20 years.

What opportunities have been presented for you to grow within your role and within the team?
We have double in numbers since I started, which has meant I have been able to try different roles within the company and have had to challenge and educate myself along the way.

What has been the best feedback you received at Btwentyfour?
That we enable customers to multiply their efficiency in their sales- and purchasing teams by automating processes. This means they can focus more to other parts to develop their business.
